I'd bet its the dyno more than anything else. K04 with goodies should do anywhere between 140kw (seen on Ralphk's car) to 170kw atw.

Unless they use small horses (ie ponies) instead of big horses in Brazil

Could also very well be a calculated flywheel figure as I have seen dynos attempt to do that as well and then 186kw is spot on for a K04 car with mods.
People on the forum say 10-15% loss through the drive train when on a dyno. If you look at what an APR tune offers cars that already have a K04 on them (S3 etc) then looking at the extra work that has been done to this car and the power figures claimed for the tune I'd expect this sort of power.

You have to remember this isn't just a turbo and tune. It's Turbo, Manifold, Exhaust, FMIC, Boost etc. Yes some dyno's will read differently to others but please don't let this thread get Hijacked like others have because of dyno readings.

At the end of the day it's an impressive car with impressive figures to go with it, why not be happy with that!!!!!!!
    Cheers,

    John

I agree...The last thing we need is Maverick migrating from the Mk5 forum into here....

Just to clarify - Plautos is this figure at the flywheel or wheels?

            250hp at the wheels
            275hp at the engine

My turbo's compressor is bigger them the k04-01 and with the bigger exhaust manifold probably I will have some more kick.

I don't trust any dyno numbers, I like the graphics...

I will pass the car again here in Curitiba, the same dyno from the other passes.

I'm about 3mins into the first one, please next time mount the camera somewhere (dash of headrest) as the shaking is pretty bad.

edit: That boxster destroyed you! Have to get the power down, and brake as late as possible, I know those brakes can do it!

Oh yeah and the videos were cool, but human camera mount gave me motion sickness

My human pod speak a lot and have Parkinson sickens!! But I forgive him, I know it is a lot of emotion!! Hahhha

I saw the Boxter and the Subaru fighting, I was testing the car so I make easy for them.

I don’t like to play with too much traffic either.

Did you saw the fast lap video?

In the beginning making turns with the second gear was very hard, I was loosing traction, the car was over steering, but the track have a good grip, so I had to adjust me to the problem. I had to control more the throttle, pumping it or going slower.

I don’t know the car 100% yet. I need to practice more. Fix some suspension and brake issues.

But in the end, traction is not a problem, the car have a good grip after all.
