Hi Guys,

Have you guys ever heard of this product? They claimed it produce smoother power delivery than APR at much cheaper price. For instance, in here, APR cost about AUS$1350, while Unitronic AUS$880. Visited their website www.unitronic.ca, seems like good deal. What's your say?

No. I think I did read somewhere that they are getting the current Polo there soon. Which would begin to make modding them a lot cheaper.

According to the dealer here, the Unitronic chip is compatible with Polo GTi as it has the same 1.8T engine as their project car "Jetta". Projected increase is about 195bhp/290nm torque.

well for those figures i'd much rather pay the extra dosh for the the APR with a "claimed" 152kW(~203bhp)/328Nm. that extra 38kW would make a huge difference in a car this small.

From what Ive read Unitronic started to cater mainly for the big turbo guys that found the APR/Giac/MTM/Revo big turbo upgrades not powerful enough !

Have the same thought too but need to wait for few more months before putting it. Head says Unitronic but heart keep yelling APR
