Coincidently I've been looking around for a new windscreen too cause mine has several annoying scratches right in front of where my eye level is and never seems to wipe clean. I bumped into a windscreen repair guy whilst up in Bendigo and was quoted $200 supplied and fitted in 1.5-2 hours. Don't think it will be a genuine VW one though but he did say it will have all the dark surrounding etc that the factory one has. Hope this helps?
