    Hi Guy
Could you just print a list of car/mods/power?
    Cheers

This is what we wrote down - now on a couple of cars - we intentionally tried to heatsoak the intakes: so on some we ran 4 times, some just 3:

The Stock run we didnt count of Rhy's car, but two stock Polo's run equalled 93kw & 95kw (no mods)

        Base line stock = 95kw

        Rhy's (APR only) 123.8 / 120.9 / 103.4 / 102.5 (heatsoak test)

        Sam (APR + APR downpipe only) 131.6 / 130.5 / 130.4 / 130.4

Eddy (APR / Full Exhaust / APR Intercooler / Seat intake & K&N)
        135.7 / 133.1 / 131.5 / 135.1 (heatsoak test)

Dave Mack (APR + Seat intake + K&N)
        123.1 / 119.8 / 116.9 / 118.7

Johan (APR + seat intake + homebrew intercooler)
        128.5 / 128.0 / 128.9 / 126.9

Jason (Oettinger + seat intake + homebrew full exhaust + Intercooler)
        126.3 / 126.2 / 130.9 / 132.0

Now also Rhy's car had a dual port blow off thingy that had thrown a code (and threw a code under full boost) but it did not effect outright HP.

Dave & Rhy's car had near identical outputs before we heatsoaked them.

As the Polo's fuel control is so good, you could see the A/F's change with the heat, and the IC cars were getting richer & richer (same boost) and giving near 1st run Power.

Jason's car actually made more power hot than cold (dumped more fuel in), but we need to look into the logs why - his car is so wacky, even the valve caps don't match

Will be a busy week here this week, but hope to have some comparison fuel / timing / boost logs out soon!

So basically ... the chipped Polo with minor mods (SEAT intake, etc.) will give approx. the same output figures as a standard Golf GTI ... with 150 less kilos to drag around.

Correct - and also with 30mm less rubber on the road per corner (think of the drag friction - not the wheelspin!)

              APR Downpipe

Do you have a Seat intake on your car Sam?

Power curve is nice and flat to redline. I do remember some of the graphs dropping off on the day (can't remember whose I was looking at)

Would be good to see everyone elses plots.. If they're not already framed and hanging on the wall

Nope, no intake mode except the Forge TIP, but that's not for horsepower.

Sam got a great result for just a DP. Although, he's never had a base dyno, ie just flash, so it's difficult to accurately determine what his DP added power wise. It seems there's considerable variation between base dyno runs with just flash alone - varies from 116-125. I'm suspecting that Sam has a strong base, probably around 125, and the DP gave his car 6-7kw.

Dave and Rhys car had very close peak runs, with flash & intake (123kW). Rhys' started to drop off as it had about 6 or 7 runs in a row, but the result of the mods on different cars seemed to be very predictable on the day.

The varying results would have come from the intake temperatures as they were trying to show how each car reacted as it got hotter. Rhys's has a full heatsoak test where they ran it for a few minutes before doing his last 2 power runs.

It will be interesting to see all the info Alex logged (intake temps etc etc) to see the full picture. Peak power means little if it's a sharp peak.

I was happy with my peak number but also the curve and the consistency. As long as each person is happy, that's all that matters.
