I can try to reproduce it, using a 10 ohm 200 watt resistor to drain the battery, but I'm not sure if it has any effects...

Firstly I wouldn't be deliberately depleting the battery as they don't need much help these days in meeting an early demise (apart from the fire hazard of shorting it) and secondly it's probably highly unlikely that you'd be able to exactly reproduce the electrical conditions which lead to the emergence of your gremlin.
But if you did, I'd buy you a beer.

Over the years I've heard a few stories of random CELs and error caused by low or flat batteries. The fix (as you can imagine) was simple a new battery (or a good charge).
I've invested in a CTEK charger for my car since I know I don't drive it far enough to keep the battery charged properly.
