  • 2015 Polo GTI MY16 - Time & Date Issue

    Hi Guys,

I picked up my GTI over the weekend and am absolutely loving it...except i am having 1 slight issue & before taking it back to the dealer I thought I would see if anyone knows a fix.

The time & date changes every time I turn the car on...I set it correctly, drive, turn the car off, but when I turn it back on it changes both time & date.

I have set it all up correctly, i live in Sydney so have it set on +10 Eastern Australia with Daylight savings option selected.

    Any help would be great!

    Cheers

    2015 Polo GTI MY16 - Time & Date Issue

Mine did the same around the same time daylight savings kicked in. After 2 days, it finally gave up - I won!

I do recall there are settings that relate to the time being set by the GPS, not via the instrument cluster.

Yeah my GTI did this for about a week when I first got it but appears to have fixed itself. I didn't do anything different, just kept changing it back and it eventually stuck...

Strange now that I hear others are having the same experience
