I have heard of VW's being sent to 'tuners' for DSG tunes - outside of the dealer network - by the dealership to resolve DSG issues. Any fix such as this wouldn't have a TPI but I doubt this is a widespread practice.

Mine is a MY15 model. I took them for a drive and showed them the error. Makes sure you do this and not just get them to look for it themselves cause they will not find it, and it will just delay you an extra day.Originally posted by SPA50 View PostThat is awesome news thank you very much!!!

A DSG tune will definately fix it cause it is basically doing what VW are but "tuning" it a little as well. But if you do not want a tune then definately the VW flash is the way to go. I can send you my VIN number and details if you want. I hae all the paper work at home ready
I'm soo euro even my missus is shaved...

Despite my demo of the clunk to service manager he was convinced it was my Milltek exhaust. He was so focused on the mods. to my car he did not even bother to get in contact with VW Australia. not sure if any of this banter is actually helping anyone, insulting those that bought a 7 speed dsg. theres other avenues to take if the dealer doesnt want to play ball. essendon VW was very helpful and helped out a few others with the same issue.
