Fixed it they said, don't worry they said. Myself and Gavs warned most of the masses that the 6C would inherit the 6Rs demons dual charged engines or not...its the drivetrain that's a pain in the tookus, OY VEY!

LOL - I had no choice...Manual in the household was NOT an option
I had a demo drive in one and while the salesman was giving it a hiding the changes were atrociously hard, banging into gear on every change. That with the fact they haven't fitted Xenons as standard lost the sale.
today it did it everytime in manual mode between 3,000 - 4,000rpm with the foot down, D and S is fine
did they explain what it might be? software related?
I have never experienced this in mine so over the last few days I tried unsuccessfully several times to replicate this in manual mode. While the change under full throttle in manual mode is not as smooth and fast as in S there is certainly no thump or clunk 2nd to 3rd, just a very savage exhaust fart that I can 'feel' as well as obviously hear, 'worse' fart under full throttle (I love it!) than is S, all perfectly acceptable and enjoyable to me.
Doubt it, but could this clunk you are hearing and feeling be DSG turbo fart/exhaust related? It's still there for 3rd to 4th but it's less violent.
my gear changes are smooth in every gear and extremely fast with a very crisp and exact dsg fart everytime and is consistent with throttle and rpm.
2nd gear to 3rd in manual mode on the other hand is abnormal and violent, it isnt like a dsg fuel cut kind of fart, the only way i can describe it is like the clutch is being let out way too fast between 3000 - 4000 rpm like there.
to me it feels like a boost cut, extremely violent but only for a second where you get a extremely large jolt and upsets the car. i've experienced the exact same feeling in other cars before but it was every gear certain throttle/rpm in them and due to overboost due to a leak and not between gears
there you go, its very hard to observe on the video. but keep an eye on the 3000-4000rpm shifts in 2nd to 3rd the camera shakes and jolts a bit. its not as apparent in the video.
then i think a bit more into it i do a few 3rd to 4th shifts at 3000-4000rpm and its smooth like any other shift at any other rpm full throttle
so the ran diagnostic, car is in the same situation as before. they've sent the information to VW germany for analysis and they will be in touch. i'll call them again in 2 weeks if i hear nothing from them
