Anyone get a good deal from any Melbourne dealers? $36k on a my16 white/dsg with lux pack is not cutting it. Might have to ring a few dealers in Melbourne.

Got the my16 white/dsg with lux pack for $34k (drive away) locally, so pretty happy with that. Got a good deal on the 'choice' package so get the 5 year warranty as well. Pick up next week, cant wait to get a few k's on this seriously competent hot hatch.

Test drove a manual gti today to consider it as a fun daily. Great little vehicle. What pricing should I expect on a white with luxury pack? Ten percent off works out to be 31150 roughly. It's an my17 but I think not many if any differences to the my16?

Sounds right.. I paid 36 with assist and lux pack plus 2 years extended factory warranty drive away .. I would have put 32 on the table

32 would tempt me. Comparing this to a second hand brz for 25 and the interior etc feels so much better for daily duties. Of course the two drive quite differently but the polo is still a lot of fun.

Hey teflon,

I just ordered a white Polo GTI MY17 in manual with Lux pack for 33k.. That was the best I could get and seems reasonable.
I think prices seem a little higher here in SA than other states, the other issue is that Manual is really hard to come by with a Lux Pack, I have been waiting a few months and best color I could get was White!! (Though that's all I wanted anyway)

Few second hand cars getting around too, but price doesn't seem much cheaper for MY15 or MY16 models, so I'm happy to wait.

Cool, which dealer? I spoke to a few dealers and the car I put a deposit in was all that was shipping to SA due anytime soon. There might be others going interstate perhaps? Anyways can't wait to get my hands on it given the fact I haven't test drive a manual, only the DSG and also never seen the lux pack in person!!

Checking with solitaire tomorrow when I take the gti for a test in the afternoon. I might see if they have a lux pack I can check out too.
