Geez, after reading many of your posts, I feel much better about my waiting period. I've ordered a 81tsi Polo in Sunset Red Metallic with Driver comfort package, titanium tint, sensors and mats for $24500 drive away. Tried to push it to an even $24000, but the salesman was pretty tough. Considered shopping around at other dealers, but tbh, just really want the car haha. Ordered on the 21st of Feb. They said delivery would be around 3 months (31st of May or just before), but got an email today saying that It would be ready by mid/late April, so Win!

I ordered mine at the end of February too. They looked at what stock was coming over and I was limited to black or the cornflour blue if I wanted the sports package. Black it was. They said the end of March, but according to the Track and Trace website, it should arrive here in WA on Monday! Of course then they have to do the tint and protection stuff but hopefully before the end of the month.

The VIN number, which I got off the dealer goes into the 'cargo number' field. It should then give you details of the ship and docking dates.

Finally picked up my car yesterday after just under a 5 month wait! Uber happy with it so far, very responsive and comments about the audio are definetly on the money.

I do like that colour! We just got white. If it was our primary car I might have got that colour and the extra comfort pack.

I recently ordered a 66TSI, Manual, Silver Metallic, 1yr rego, full tank of petrol and floor mats. ~70 day wait for delivery. $15,750 drive away. I put a little over 1,000 km a week on my car, so I think I was able to get them to flex on the drive away price based off the fact that they'd make money off me due to a scheduled service every 15 weeks!

There's a thought. Is it 15000km or 15000km/1 year? The owners manual has both and they put the km's but not the date on my next service sticker.
