Fix a tyre which had a nail

75,000km was also the first time I had been advised my brakes needed maintenance, I did my back Pads and Rotors myself.
I'm so impressed with Bendix Euro spec pads.. Literally no dust comes off them.
Front still had 50% on the inner and outer pads, the rotors haven't warped yet, but have a nice smooth lip over the disc.

Did you use the VW 504.00/507.00 approved version of Edge 5W-30?
The standard Edge isn't VW approved. From Supercheap, "Castrol Edge DPF Engine Oil" is the only Castrol oil that is 504.00/507.00 approved.
It probably won't make your engine blow up, but VW can deny warranty claims due to the wrong oil if they want to.
yeah I did. BTW what intervals should valves be done? 30k?
You would be right, I should have looked more in to what the engine was before I asked
Nothing wrong with asking. The Nissan MR20DE (M4R) in my Megane doesn't use hydraulic lifters and it's a relatively modern engine, so they're still out there!
