The cup model arrives in 2014...I'd be the one to bet and wait on the Sport Chassis (possibly late 2014/early 2015).

A lot of standard kit...147kw from a 1.6 liter turbo....the polo is 135? or something like that?

      I would prefer a manual as well...damn

After owning a Peugeot 206 GTi 180 for six years I will never trust french reliability again. This applies exponentially based on the complexity of the vehicle.

I hope your talking about Renault Sport Whatever you do, don't buy the standard Megane with the 2.0 litre we have. Crappest sounding engine in the world...
Never mess with a Meganne Sport driver. Hahahaha
Got over taken by one when I was already doin $1.15 into a 60km/h corner.
I gave him the thumbs up and just smiled. Nice work.
ALthough I only had my car for less than an hour at the time. I reckon I'll have a better crack at him next time.. Hahahahaha

Don't bother man. Out of all the cars I have driven, the RS 265 trophee has by far the greatest mechanical grip without slick tyres which from factory is phenomenal. It's so progressive an confidence inspiring.

I forgot to include Opel in my list too

The interior of the GT feels very cheap, but the GTS manages to recitify a lot of the faults. While the VW interior feels a little more prestige the GTS doesn't feel like a huge step down.
See I drove the 86 because I was at a point of chuckin in the towel but I got back in my polo and aside from the balance, and better reliability if take the polo any day. Even moreso of it was a manual.

Looks fast, feels fast, drives fantastic, isn't fast, inside feels cheap and tacky and oh my god, that bloody rear wing....

I like the look of this one better than the new one. I wish the French guys would stop messin with the look of their cars all the time.

We once borrowed a friends R.S. Megane II for a couple of months. Mum almost bought it she loved it so much, but she was worried about reliability.

I am given VW one more chance after this car.
Golf Gti Carbon Edition (apparently around 200kg lighter than the current Golf GTI)

EDIT: Probably go back to Alfa after that (or Renault)

The Clio isn't bad but not really that that much more powerful when you compare it...

                              Polo GTI (1.4L)
                              136kw
                              250nm

                              Clio (1.6L)
                              147kw
                              240nm

It's not about the power, it's about the dynamics of the car
