I'm not entirely sure what you mean?
Are you saying replace the Parker bulbs with LEDs do the same with those fog light DRLs then only switch your internal light switch to the Parker and fog light position? This will work although when you switch to all on you'll get halogen lights bleeding through with a yellow tint.
Also I think I read somewhere that those fog light DRLs from that site are kinda dodge and cheap, may not look that great, best too see some pics first.
On another note I swear today I saw heaps of cars with Xenons without the washer system. I'm completely throwing that part of the retrofit out. What I am thinking is like what you mentioned gavs I might get the lights and just put halogens in. I wanna see if I can get it done somewhere as well. I don't think I'll be able to manage the install process myself... I can just about change each headlight and then the rest I have no idea....
Ok, replace my fog lights with these cheapo LED things.
As my headlamps turn on when in 0 and are always on, I can switch the headlamps to turn on the Park lights only. I can take out the little globes. Then I pull the light switch to fog lights on thus turning on the LEDs.
When it's night I turn the headlamps on to ON and turn the LEDs off using fog light switch to off.
Gettit?
If they're cheap and the source isn't reliable then throw out the idea
I think there is a better solution, if you can access vcds.
Change the DRL function from the parker globes to fogs (I'm not 100% sure on how to do this) and then replace the fogs with these, then you have LED DRLS all the time
If they're cheap and the source isn't reliable then throw out the idea
Haha... that was quick.
I'm just going to get H8 LEDs and put them in my fog lights, they wont necessary be DRLs in a horizontal manner but will still have a bright LED look and feel.
What I would really like is just the DRLs in the main headlamps and rest is whatever. This way i can get away with washers and just have standard halogens... also I'd have to ask but maybe i dont need to buy the adapter as well...?

Im assuming these are Halogen Projector headlights which dont require washers... Unlike Bi-xenon Projector headlights which use the HID bulbs.
yeah but I've seen HID lights before and the car doesn't have washers. Pretty sure it was a Mazda 6 2012 model I saw which didnt have washers... not 100% if they are Xenons but they definitely looked like it.

A whiter-light halogen globe can have similar visual appearance to a xenon in a projector lens due to the way the projector produces the cutoff which in turn displays more of the colour spectrum of light at the cutoff boundaries.
