Was looking on the car yesterday...I thought under the bumper line just above where the fogs would go, and then i thought why not get the fogs. I didn't get a sport pack, and found a USA company selling the fogs, plus the black housings for $160 US. I'm sure if I wait a bit and the US invade Libya, their exchange rate will go down the gurgler and I'll get them for $50 Au...

...anyway made me think maybe fitting the fogs would be the go...anyone think the wiring harness already has the cable in it for fogs fitments?

I have a 6R and fitted the fogs - they DEFINITELY DON'T have the wiring harness. I had to have them wired completely independently of the cars harness, couldn't even use the VW switch with the extra function. Wiring cost me $500, original switch (which I didn't use) was $285

Hi Lockwood - can understand the cost, but any idea how come we can't use the existing switch ? Was hoping to buy the lamp and housing, and worst case wiring too, but though could at least rely upon using the VeeDub switch...

Deal with these guys at work, was thinking of mounting 1 or 2 behind the grill as driving lights that you can't normally see...

In my Liberace suit Seriously though, 2 of the 6" light bars, one in spot pattern, the other in wide-beam would be more than plenty coupled with high beam Xenons! Though, the Xenons will probably be super dooper bright anyway!

In my Golf R, when driving on country roads, I have to switch them off high-beam any time I come up to one of those corners with multiple "large arrow" signs pointing in the direction of the corner. They're so bright that it reflects back at you and blinds you so you can't see around the stupid corner! Thus, switching back to normal beam.

Think I've been re-swayed towards the front spoiler lip after seeing it on a light car....

Mk4 R32 replicas. Really makes the car look fat, especially the front 3qtr where it emphasises the flaring of the guards.
