Sooo, I rang VWA customer care after Brian's debacle and the first thing to reports is yes, VWA are useless. When I get told that the date I originally was told at the start of Feb (week 18 build with end of July delivery) is correct, yet NADCON states body shell production on march 25th and it's already in frozen period, people wondered why I went searching for answers the first time when they started making up excuses as to why we couldn't get cars...

Second thing to report, apparently it's codswallop that queensland get priority but I don't know what to believe now, I just think I will sit back and keep shaking my head at this company and how poorly mismanaged it is!

Yeah, ditto dude. I posted on Brian's thread. I contacted VWA as well, they keep saying orders have no delays. They said mine is scheduled for Melbourne end of May.....I said WTF?.. then came back and said middle of June, which is what my last NADCON schedule indicated. Will we see our orders hit the Production Line next week?????? As they say in Germany how long is a piece of Schnur

Polo TSI ordered Jan, expected May-June - Dealer told this week now delayed, maybe Dec 2011. How can VGA be so messed up that expectations change that dramatically within a few weeks. Is there another strike in South Africa we don't know about?

One can only assume that due to the marginally higher number of orders placed on the GTI than the Polo TSI that they are giving GTI a higher production priority.

Yes, the GTI comes from the pamplona factory in Spain.

Hi Tay,
In the first instance, I would contact the dealer and ask him for a NADCON sceendump, this at least gives you an estimate of production/delivery times. If the dealer is being difficult or evasive then contact VGA.

But since NADCON has hundreds of screens, you should probably more specifically ask for a screenshot of the "ETA Data" table.
