Great to hear another forum user happy with APR so I don't sound like an APR rep lol. It really is great isn't it? But I tell you what, after the suspension mod, I now want more power as the car can handle much more now especially off the line. No massive wheelspin like before.

The amount of power and torque you get for the tune is quite amazing.
I've had ecu's "flashed" in a lot of my previous cars but nothing gave the increase in power like with the Polo GTI.
Really makes you think why they released it with such a moderate tune? I guess it needs to appeal to all types.
It took just over an hour (they were pretty busy though)
The winter sale ends tomorrow, but it will most likely come back say Volkspower.
Bugger re the sale finishing tomorrow. For what it's worth I've dropped Volkspower and APR a email to see if they'll extend the price to me for an install next Saturday. I've offered to pay a deposit on Monday. We'll see what comes of it.
By the way, what was the final price you paid?2011 Polo GTI - I have it, I Love It!!!!

Really impressed by the engine, and everything else was as expected. Will definitely be driving it again.

I really like the chrome pedals. But at last look I could only find pedals for left hand drive. Or at least the ebay sellers claim it cannot be fitted to our RHD cars."SCHIBS" 2011 77TSI Polo Manual | Pepper Grey, Sports/Comfort/Audio Packs, MDI, 9W7 BT, Full Tint & Mats

Whereas these which do seem to be official are only for RHD. But more expensive.

Although it would be safe to ensure the pedals are genuine and are not going to fall off. Do your pedals just fit over the top of the existing ones? or do you have to take the existing plastic one off?

With the brake and clutch you remove the current rubber/plastic pedal, and replace them with the new metal ones. It's pretty easy, took me less than 10 minutes, they kinda click/twist on, and it's a tight squeeze. With the accelerator pedal it's a bit different, since you just fit the metal pedal over the current plastic pedal.
Once they are on, they are not going anywhere.
The ones from HK are clearly a copy/reproduction, they are not genuine. They have a completely different finish than the original ones. Much more shiny. The other ones looks genuine but the shape of the accelerator pedal looks off, compared to mine? However that might be the difference between the RHD and the LHD version?
Here's a few from the German eBay. They are all genuine VW.

Thanks for the help Don.
Asked the seller of one of your links if they fit RHD and they don't but the below link are the RHD chrome pedals they sell. The same I posted earlier. I'll post again when fitted. Thanks

Edit: Received above pedals today but the acceleration pedal was too narrow to fit. Looking at DonWerner's pedals above, I can see that his is considerably wider. So yeah.. do not purchase from the above link. Hopefully I can get the seller to change it."SCHIBS" 2011 77TSI Polo Manual | Pepper Grey, Sports/Comfort/Audio Packs, MDI, 9W7 BT, Full Tint & Mats

Have some bits and pieces coming hopefully this week, next at the latest. PIAA Plasma Ion Yellows for the Fogs, and some H&R springs (25/40) arriving aswell... Hopefully all in before the Oxenford show up here and before i do the charity ride ive been put down for...
Question for those who have the springs installed already, do you guys have first of all have the lovely bit of verticle plastic that sits under the front bumper? (will try to get a photo tonite to provide some clarity) and if you do, any problems with it scrapeing like crazy on bumps? (appologies for the poor spelling to... big weekend, at work... no coffee -_-)2011 VW Polo 77TSI | Manual | Savannah Yellow | Comfort Pack | Sports Pack |
