Haha sounds pricey, what was the breakdown of required parts?

Grab some of that stoniers glass cleaner from CCP, good stuff.

And this is from another forum but it's what someone with a 3dr GTI needs to do today

i know it's nasty, but I have almost a full bottle, Meg's interior window cleaner because a) It smells nice and b) it's safe for tinted windows, which I had on the golf and plan on getting on the polo. I generally just use filtered water but the screens were so filty, it needed the extra punch. All finished with a polish from my microfibre window cloth

It's alright man, I've been using the Megs products for years too. Most I've since retired, but I'm still using the Megs glass cleaner. Hell, I know several BIG IT companies that use it to clean their monitors and LCDs, even on laptops, because it cleans well, is safe, and relatively cheap.

The reason I asked though, is whilst it seems to get rid of the suction cap marks, I still see them in some sunlight conditions. So I've been meaning to try out the Stoner's Invisible Glass as I see dave_r has mentiond above.

Btw, dave_r, that is one of the nicest Polo's I've seen thus far, despite it not being a "real colour". The headlights, wheels, lowering, skirts, and the fact that it's a 3 door all work well together to make it look great.

        • Yeah, I must say that it is far better then generic household window cleaners and it doesn't stink like cat's wee either like certain ammonia based products

I mentioned it because that is what Pierre recommended to me and that is what I used. I had heaps of suction cap marks on the front screen that just wouldn't fark off. A quick wipe with that has it 95% done, but I got lazy and missed a few spots hehe.

I already e-mailed the pic to my dealer and said if they can give me one in AWD, I'd trade in the missus 77TSI tomorrow.

The yellow fog lights are easy. It's just a LaminX film. If you're not confident enough to install that yourself, any window tinter, or even better, "paint protection film" installer can put that on for you (if you pay them to)

That's a grey 77TSI as they build the TSI in 3dr in for Europe but not Australia.

How do i know? please take note of the side skirt, front grill, below front grill silver trim, rear spoiler.

That is a sexy car but it's a TSI with the right modcons making it look like a GTI on roids.

                    • just a quick fyi.

                      2010.2011 polo 77tsi headlight removal.

Front bumper doesn't have to be removed to replace/change headlight setup.

                      Thanks

Yes, someone did too see how it looked and it looked like crap.

Personally, I really dislike them. Yellow fogs (in my opinion, everyone elses is different but mine will not be swayed on this matter) not only look like crap but they belong on 80's and 90's rice rockets like Toyota AE86s and wedge-shaped supras. They don't fit in on the front end of the car. We don't see cats-eye road reflectors with red on one side and white with a hint of yellow on the bottom, cars in my opinion, should be the same.

Yellow lights are for roadworks and the SES

                        • Currently looking for 18' Talladegas in black if anyone knows where to find someone selling them, or where there is a reputable seller with replicas (with full weight and not dodge 101's).

Still working on figures for converting my lights to the Bi-Xenon/LED drl's going for the red baby R look xD

                          • You'll have to either get some in Silver, and paint them black (not a hard job to do), or get replicas. The black Talladegas come in 19x8"

Additionally, if you're wanting to fit them to your Polo, you'd have no choice but replicas, since the Golf and Polo have different PCDs right?

LOL either way, it is the nicest 6R Polo I've seen to date.
