What have you done with your Polo so far (and today)
yes there would be probably negligible difference, i just would be interested to do a back to back dyno run with the factory air filter and then straight after with a K&N air filter and see what difference there is.
So, I've upgraded my speakers a while ago and they are awesome. But I need to replace the interior door handle "cover". I snapped on of the hooks and it doesn't fit perfect anymore. Anyone know where I can find a replacement? It is on the driver side and need to have the hole for the electric mirror switch.
I prefer genuine VW parts
POLO 77TSI DSG 5D - MY11 - REFLEX SILVER - COMFORT PACK Engine - K&N Air Filter (e-2997) AV - Rockford Fosgate T1652-S , T1652 and P3L-S12 Sub. Alpine MRP-F600 and Alpine MRP-M500, Dynamat Planned - lots, but the "financial manager" says NO
Call your dealer's "Sale of Parts" number. Give them your VIN, and describe the part. They'll be able to tell you the part number and the price, the stock level, and order if necessary. If they are not sure of the part number, then it will likely be on the part itself (on the under side of it, so take it off again).

Thanks, will give them a call tomorrow.

Added OEM led license plate lights (stock on 2012 models, built 05/11->). A bit expensive but I don't like generic led bulbs. Part number is 1K8943021B for the OEM led's.
Philip Reeve, the owner and operator of Lakin Custom Plate Brackets is a great guy, extremely knowledgable, great customer service, and offers great products.
In the Golf MK6 forum we have a "Best number plate holder thread" where there has been extensive discussion in relation to the ugly front plate holder on the Golf GTI/GTD/R models which only fit a full sized Euro properly. Philip has developed solutions to replace that holder much to my delight. He also has brackets for the rear of our cars too.

If it's the same procedure as the Golf6/skoda the module should be changed, and the paddles can simply be activated by VCDS by checking a box (although 90% of the bits and bytes is still unknown), the ESP and airbag lights will have to be done by the dealer
True, there are a lot of 'shoulds' and 'ifs' but hey, someone has to try it. Eventually I'll have paddles, working or not
It's all long term planning since I bought a house yesterday, but its coming
I drove my car! Still getting used to the difference to my previous car (gone from 2.0L NA to 1.2L T both in similar weight cars). The weather was very wet and cold, but the 77TSI Sport felt good on the road. It's nice to drive. The gear box (manual) is nice to shift. Feels not dissimilar to an MX5 I used to own.

303'd the interior plastics, actually cleaned the inside of the windows which the "detailer" who scratched the paint on my car forgot to do which finally removed the suction cup marks, also recieved my nice new DA6 polisher (Thanks Mike and Pierre!) so I can fix said paint..... Still get so livid about that.....
I drove my car into work today. I usually either catch public transport or go in with my partner but because I have a new toy, I want to drive her as much as I can.
The hill start assist is freaking me out. With my previous car, I was used to just the tiniest bit of roll-back but the Polo stays absolutely stationary and it's taking a while to get used to. It just feels odd, but in a very good way
