Not really sure about the chemical composition. Initially I thought it would take longer being in cold weather, similar to Corey at 10deg. But lucky I only tried one panel to check how it was reacting with the paint, that's when I found out that it was drying too quickly for my liking. I did the rest of the car allowing 5-7 minutes per panel, this allowed the sealant to dry enough to buff off relatively easily. I think that this was about right.

Yeah - not sure about what effect the temp has either! I'd say that "I'll tell you in the summer", but as you know, Nanolex lasts 12 months so it means the next time I apply it on that car it'll still probably be cold! Mum has a Polo on the way later this year... maybe I'll be a nice son and apply it on her car?!

Also going to keep an eye out for any air intake and exhaust improvements that become available...

I did buy it and the only change is a slightly more audible turbo spool. No +500 horsepower, 1000 km/liter or other funny stuffPOLO 77TSI DSG 5D - MY11 - REFLEX SILVER - COMFORT PACK

after 500 or so km's im going to get the rear engine mount bushing removed and replaced with an OEM (currently getting a quote for a new one, the shop i had the bushing installed at threw out my old one instead of giving it back, was in a bad way when it was removed i think)
I miss the nice and quiet cabin... and hearing the turbo spool up... Although i will miss the grunty feel of the stiffer bushing and the better 1-2-3 shifting.
If anyone is after a SuperPro Rear Engine Mount Bushing let me know, it fits the 1.4 and the 1.2, Its the 70K Street one, not the 80K Competiton one.2011 VW Polo 77TSI | Manual | Savannah Yellow | Comfort Pack | Sports Pack |
