And where did you get the software.. I have been reading stuff on the other forum on software and where to download ( as posted by George) and I am pretty sure I am doing everything correct. Help!!
MY15 Polo GTI - Red - DA PackOriginally posted by car_nut View PostSeems you have made a wrong connection, not to worry it's easily done and I'm sure I can help you out, I have had mine on and off several times and have plenty of close up photos of each connection.
Rather than fiddle around attaching photos here please PM me an email address so I can send you the photos.
Cheers

Please excuse me answering for you Harrydillon.
I'm happy to post up my photos, links etc but suspect it might be a wasted effort as in time the post will 'get lost' in the mirriad of other posts.2015 Polo GTI with DA pack : Milltek Turbo back exhaust | DD spacer | JB1 | VWR Turbo Intake elbow and intake hose | BMC panel filter | KW Street Comfort coilovers | Whiteline adjust. endlinks | Harding DSG Perf. tune | Wagner Intercooler| Dotz Mugello 17 x 8 32ET

Haha thanks car_nut, no not at all. Of course, I can't ask for help and then not update the forum with the outcome. And yeap, what he said, I haven't had a chance to try it. Work and social life gets in the way of car mods [emoji16]

Big 48hrs to celebrate her 2nd birthday;
- Wash/Clay/Swirl remover/polish and wax
- Rims off, inside of wheels cleaned along with calipers and wheel arch liners. Exhaust tips polished with metal polish. Bolts greased up with copper grease.
- LiquiMoly intake clean (solvent) followed by oil and filter change.
Love it!

Bolts - copper grease. Use a minimum and keep it off the tapered seat.
Torque measurements are given for a clean, non-lubricated fastener, so you shouldn't use any grease at all but I can understand wanting to counteract any additional corrosion. Lubrication increases the clamping force for the same torque value (120Nm on VW product?) with a higher potential to strip the thread.
I'm not saying you over-lubricated but others might.carandimage The place where Off-Topic is On-Topic

Wheel bolts are one of the few things I bother to use the torque wrench on. You'd be surprised how over-tight and uneven most people do wheel nuts.
120Nm isn't a lot. A 45kg weakling can undo that with the standard wheel brace.
Using a lubricant on the threads, the 120Nm is more like 180Nm in reality.carandimage The place where Off-Topic is On-Topic

Plus the corrosion only gets worse if not cleaned and lubricated, so whilst the 100 Nm is the actual tightness it will take much more to undo the bolts. I've seen over 200 Nm required to undo badly corroded wheel and bolts.
Cheers
