What have you done with your Polo so far (and today)
Had my first service today. Was very nervous about leaving my precious with someone else, but it came back detailed, no dings, scratches or swirls, wheel aligned and tyres rotated without any marks or chips around the bolts, no leaking oil or dirty finger prints... impressed. I can relax for another 15,000km.
Just had the steering rods replaced today (dealer said that they were 'worn' after 12,000kms) - Go figure? At least I didn't have to pay a cent! All under Warranty. Got the car back and the steering feels much tighter and more responsive! They also did a wheel alignment.

Hope they didnt charge you for the wheel alignment
So... The wombat I ordered with my polo came today... Wasn't sure where to fit it, so I just tried to shove it in the front grill. So the rest of you know, when your wombat gets delivered (if optioned) it won't fit in the grill. Trying to fit here may cause damage to your car.
This concludes todays public service announcement.

Only the grill?! You're lucky! I've been following a pajero that nearly had it's entire RH front corner ripped off the car! 4 legged barrels of vehicular destruction, just to go along with marsupials that gut you with their feet, spiders, snakes, boots up north that swallow you whole, jellies the size of a 50c piece that can kill you... I love this country

Anyone in Perth that can install a Bluetooth Kit *9W7 into my 6R Polo GTI? I'm buying the kit off eBay...
Think someone will need the VCDS gizmo thingo mobobby as well for it to sync with steering wheel and my RDS 500 radio machine touch screen I have (what ever model touch screen radio with 6stack and SD reader)
Will pay you, think VW service charge $150 an hour and it takes two hours... Hrmmmmm
called the repair shop today to check up on the polo... body parts have been ordered, condenser/radiator have been sent away for testing... all parts expected back by next Wednesday and car back to me next Friday at the earliest ... but on the plus side i only have to pay 1050 of 4k... thanks comprehensive insurance ... and just in case anyone was curious, no claim discount not changed as wombat + night = could not see = not at fault... just in case anyone was curious...

It won't affect your rating but its still classed as at fault because that can't get the money from the wombat. It just means if you a have any other at fault claims in the last 3-5 years you can get refused insurance or will be knocked back if you try to change insurance.
I had my car broken into, hit a kangaroo and was backed into. All not my fault but no one else to claim money from. When I traded up and tried to reinsure the new car I was knocked back by my current insurer because I'd had 3 or more at fault claims in the last 5 years. So I went to AAMI who are over 3 years which ment it was only 1 claims in that period. I just waited a year for one to be more then 5 years ago and went back to my cheaper insurer.
