      • Hey guys! First post here and its nothing special but i thought i'd start simple.

        This is my 5000km, 4month old 2016 81TSI Polo with comfort driving package

        Gave it a full wash today and waxed her for the first time with Meguiars Ultimate.
        My photography skills are average, sorry!

        • I have an exciting few weeks ahead...

          My '16 6C manual GTI has waiting for it to go along with its current APR tune...

          - HFI Carbon CAI
          - VWR springs
          - AVID.1 Wheels
          - Front splitter/lip ordered and on its way from the UK

          should be awesome once it's finished!

            • Nice to see a few other My 16 GTI owners here. I have a white, DSG luxury pack. I have put 1600 clicks on her so far.

              Its been booked in for a visit at Faststuff for a DSG tune and ECU tune (OEM plus) I think is what they are calling it. Anyway is there anything I should expect from the tune and DSG tune. If anyone has had theres tuned, please chime and let us know what you think.

                You will love it. I have had mine for 6 weeks now and really enjoy it. I am looking forward to getting my DSG tune and ECU tune done next week. Where do you get your work done? I think the OEM plus tune from harding performance is similar to the apr one. I am going with the harding one because they are doing my DSG and I wanted to do both at the same time.

                    Oem+ is still a while off apparently, Harding performance have their own tune but it's a little lower on kw and torque than the APR tune. I've got the wheels on, I'll give the HFI intake a go sometimes this week hopefully, had a look yesterday and there is a plug connector that appears to be going into the bottom of the airbox, any idea what that is for or what I would do with it when swapping to the HFI intake?

                      I was at fast stuff today and Dean extracted the software for my DSG and ECU tune. It is the OEM+ is the new harding performance tune. It claims basically the same the power and torque outputs as the APR tune. So the tune is apples for apples. Not sure why you heard it was down on the APR stuff.

                        How are you finding the OEM+ tune so far? I have been getting the itch again...

                        Staying on topic, recently changed the front headlight bulbs to Philips Xtremevision +130, changed interior lights to LEDs (wayyyy brighter than stock), and a complete wash, clay and wax job.

                            I got that from Harding performance themselves...quoted 180kw and 300 something of torque - can't remember exactly, not a huge difference, only a few kw..

                              How much did you pay for it? I want to do it to my Polo and probably the DSG tune as well.

                              Considering the 6C has 143KW and it jumps to 180 is pretty good, with a full exhaust and intake you would almost push 200 possibly?
                              I'm soo euro even my missus is shaved...

                              • I am at fast stuff atom waiting for the tune to be flashed in. So I cannot comment on if it's good or bad yet. I will check with Dean what the actual expected gains are. As for pricing guys best to give them a call a negotiate your own price. but I would suggest budget for say $2200 for both DSG and ECU tune. I wil post up up in few days or so after I have it and give a basic overview of the tune and how the DSG is. One thing I would say do both DSG and ecu tune if you have the auto. Manual cars just hook straight in guys.
