What have you done with your Polo so far (and today)

In a bit of an annoyed mood this week, the fellow who is selling those R20 bumpers has all of a sudden gone quiet...the kit was meant to arrive on the 22nd and its been four days since the so called "arrival" yet he has yet to reply to my emails, the phone line has been disconnected.

I hope the business isn't some sort of con setup.....not in the mood for stupidity.

Just called him apparently the container is in holding in the Brisbane holding yard at the docks as two items were not listed on the invoice to which Customs has raised a concern and sidelined the container until the proper paperwork arrives...sigh could be a month wait

Lol I work for a furniture company and we have quite a few containers which have more or less things than is listed on the paperwork. Funny that they just pulled up yours

I'm guessing its because the shipment contains a lot of "sealed" plastics and is coming from China which a lot of syndicates use for drug trafficking? (Although I would put it in hollow legs of furniture.....lol) ;P

Well I've loved driving it, took good care of it, and today...today I drove to Campbelltown and sold my Polo, and proceeded to buy my new Candy White Golf GTi. It was a private sale to a dad buying his daughter her first car. I feel sad parting with my best VW ever, but also happy I think the daughter is getting a great car.

Everyone on this forum has been great. From hints and tips, to inspirational mods and photos. I'll keep checking in, and hope to add to the Golf threads in time.
