there is a fair amount of rubbing on the guard
looks like im gonna have to raise the back 10mm or so

All I can say is, your car needs a good roll...but i think I heard that Polo 6R guards cannot be rolled! >.<

So you reckon 15mm spacers would work well? What size are your tyres, standard 215/40's?

215/45, thats the problem, i could change down to 40 or 35 would give some clearance and add some low, but that would be an expensive fix

a 20mm spacer will make the denvers sit perfectly flush with the guards, by my measurements at least.

What size is the wheel? Mine are 7.5 et36 at the front and sit pretty flush. (7.5 et26 at rear. Few mm poke)

FINALLY, after procrastinating, lots of research and a little frustration, I have made a choice on wheels and tyres for my ride. I'm sure gavs and ATYPIC are breathing a sigh of relief. Got them fitted and balanced the other day, however, I had to order some hub centric rings which come on Monday. Just need to find some time to take some decent pics, so you'll have to wait

All I'll say is....17"

BTW.....my OEM Denvers and tyres are up for sale on the forum!
