I just ordered one from EBAY the original is a good 15cm's long, the one im getting is a mere 6cms long and its a Genuine Sharan VW Factory 5mm version (Used in the Golf GTI) the fitment is universal for 90% of cars made in the world.

nice! they look really good, and lots of people that come to the vic cruises seem to have them- such a small part, and yet, for example (and in my experience) it will really set a red mk5 golf gti with one, apart from a red gti without one- in a "i really dont know what it is, but THAT one just looks better for some reason" kind of way.

Well for $20 shipped....why not LOL. damn online shopping!

yeh the kamei ones, think i missed the postman today and he left a note for a pickup so hopefully sprayed and on by next week.

also be getting my grille and the vw badges sprayed black.

The missus would be keen on the underseat storage bins if they're not too pricey. Not listed on the USA sites since they don't get the car. Not sure the part number either.

I like the Reiger kit better, but it is fibreglass and not ABS. I would be interested to hear your comments after you see them?

lol- im sorry, i meant to say that because of the pic, it reminded me of the sharan antenna.

but please post any questions RE modding etc on here. i know that the jap/euro scenes are very different (and for me, driving a diesel, it's very different from even a VW petrol- e.g. even though i have a tune, a bigger dump pipe would be BAD), but, and not to say that i know it all (hahahaha- VERY far from it), if you've got a question regarding potential mods etc, dont hesitate to ask- i might be able to help.

oh.... not to get anyone's hopes down, but rather to get some thoughtful motion going- one thing that really ****s me with the polo 1.2 TSI is the 270 degrees of bends in the air intake-> throttle body.

SOMETHING has to be done about that!

that's pretty good, man.

if you think about it, we're a VERY small market (people who want to mod non-GTI polos in australia, when you could spend half and have a "brutal" 15 year old V.

for them to have even one kit of each in, is testament to the game they play- i would have thought they'd be one of a million honestly-trying-to-make-a-go-of-it local modding companies who will gladly take your order, but will advise you of your import wait time...

Ok everyone, though decision. I got my eyelids yesterday, and there black plastic and they don't look to bad on. Should I get them sprayed black or red, red being the main car color.
