I thought maybe its time we have our own little goodies thread where new VW Polo owners or avid Volkswagen Enthusiasts post links to sites, companies (Numbers etc) or products that can enhance our individual polo;s


Please try to refrain from posting rice items (Coloured Tyre pressure caps, Aluminium tin wheels (Habib spec)

And possibly if you ever do find, the ways of enhancing the headlight unit (Getting the Bi-Xenon headlight from Germany for the new polo GTI with headlight washer kit).


If you own a polo you are already an individual you don't follow a crowd and want to be different...but you most probably like me want to keep the Genuine look of a VW not a rice special.

Not sure if it qualifies as rice or not, but I've just ordered a bunch of white LED bulbs from eBay to replace all the interior bulbs. Also ordered a couple of special ones to replace the number plate lights with... No idea what they're going to look like but cost less than $50 all up so not a big loss if they turn out to be crap

Also, when I get a chance I will be changing the stock headlight bulbs over to some nice bright white ones... Probably Philips DiamondVision or CrystalVision... Can pick these up at most auto parts stores...

bluemotion grille will be a sure fire way to set you VW Watercooled boys apart from all the other polos on the road in australia- i reckon it's a very nice OEM+ kinda mod.

and yeah.... OEM+ for the mother****in' win:

-looks classy
-attracts attention from only the RIGHT kinda people
-easy swap ins/ swap outs
-will not likely go outta production anytime soon (e.g. the bluemotion grille, or the roof spoiler)
-can fly WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY under the radar when it comes to cops and foolly hektiks alike...

As i really would love to remove the TSI badge and replace it with a Bluey badge.

I just noticed look at the front lip...it has an add on :O...i think i just had a heart attack haha.

*Points to topic name* all i said was try not to, im not going to prevent people from linking or adding rice items...its a free and relaxed forum not a luxftwaffen regime plus most people may find your post helpful.

However it sort of puts a "Think before post" in your head before someone may post a ma habibi tin wheel set, or a fully sick flashing fog lights for da chix bro...hahaha.

This is one item I am searching for. The ABT rear spoiler. It differs to the VW factory one as it actually sits on the rear brake light on the hatch door. I think its the best bit of the ABT kit.

Don't know if we can buy this separately though, and would like to know the price for this one part!

Go to Ramspeeds website, send an email to them with the order number on the ABT website stating "Interested in pricing for ABT, rear roof spoiler (Carbon-look) for 1.2 TSI, TDI or just 1.4 polo 6r0"

They will reply within about a week as many people are trying to get info from them about products.

i know, i know... if only i had the finances to start up a business like that, i think it would tick over, given the ever-growing VW scene here in Oz. as for the front lip- i cant be sure, but i know that votex does a lot of OEM body kits for VW, it might be one of theirs?

I don't even recall the stock one being that big. How much smaller/different is the replacement hehe?

The missus would be keen on the underseat storage bins if they're not too pricey. Not listed on the USA sites since they don't get the car. Not sure the part number either.

Haha, you cannot blame people for logical buying options, if you look at your missus current antenna you would think its a very thick black network cable on a rod, with that lil beauty no more tree hunting (Antenna hitting low branches).
