2010 Polo Drive Away Prices. Share what you ended up paying.

I almost put a deposit down on a Polo GTI, but the idea if waiting 6-7 months put me off - now looking at a 2010 Mk6 Golf GTI instead.

Anyway, my spec was: 5dr, CW, Xenons, Comfort, Audio for $33,700 - which I think is a decent price.

Geeze, if I could wait and had the cash ready, I'd get some decent interest for the next 6 months!

Just ordered my 2011 Polo GTI late last year with the following specifications:
3 Door
Candy White
Sunroof
Audio Package
Bluetooth
Bi-xenon lights

Got it ordeed for the price of $33,600 drive away which I was happy with. Hoping to have it by April/May 2011, but from what I am reading on this forum, it seems unlikely

Same wait for a new order, about $11k more for similar spec... But I'm now trying to get a deal on 2010 stock instead, avoid the wait.

Where are you finding the 2010 stock? Everywhere i've called is just giving me the new orders only line..

I just bought a 77tsi today. They will confirm a delivery date tomorrow (I'm aware it could be months).

Flash Red, 5dr, DSG, Sports pack, comfort pack, slimline plates, mats. $26,040. (Corporate Plus discount + a bit of haggling).

Elected not to get the audio pack because I'll probably just get an RNS510 from ebay for $1200 or whatever.

Dealer phoned me back regarding delivery dates.

He can get me one that also has an Audio Pack, due Mid April. Or, if I want it without the Audio Pack then I'd need to wait until AUGUST! yikes!

Needless to say I went with the additional Audio Pack. Discounted it to $500. So that brings the price to:

Polo 77TSi, Flash Red DSG, Sports Pack, Comfort Pack, Audio Pack, Mats, Slimline Plates for $26,540.

Was going to get Sat Nav and Sunroof. But learnt that the inbuilt sat nav does not give speed camera alerts so its a no go for me. As for the sunroof.. I had to stop somewhere.

Also was going to get bluetooth but realised I could get it put on afterwards if I really needed it.

That's a really good price you got there! Obviously deduct $2500 for not having the DSG, but add on $2300 for the Leatherette Trim. Means that you probably got yours a couple of grand cheaper than me and I was using the Corporate Plus discount + haggling. How on earth did you manage such a price? Was it one they had in stock or a demo or something?

No ETA as of yet. Its a brand spaking new car not demo (coming from the factory).

Got it thorugh my work. Salary packaging company went around got me this good price.

They got about a quarter the price off all options and the base was discounted as well.
