Have a light on the dash pertaining to brake lights It doesnt come on with ignition. Only comes on if you push brake pedal but then stays on till you turn ign off.
Have scanned with OBDEleven and it says "Lamps for brake lights Short to earth Intermittent". Code 01758
Have checked operation of ALL lights and they all work as expected.
Had a similar problem in my Passat and it eventually turned out to be a loose connector, so fiddled with connectors but no different .
Anyone had this problem and how did you fix it. Next try will be to replace tail end bulbs but they work so cant figure it out.
