  • Cost to fit new springs

    Hi all,

I am just after a rough cost of what I should be looking at paying to have Whiteline lowering springs fitted to my 2015 6C polo GTI

I can purchase the springs myself for around $320.
However one well known suspension company wants to charge $400 to fit the springs

Sounds about right - they will be charging you $100+ per hour. Realistically its probably only a 2hr job for a workshop though. You will also need a wheel alignment after.

Rear spring fit is relatively easy, front springs being struts are much more time consuming plus wheel alignment should be around 2 to 2.5 hours for a suspension expert, 3 + hours for a general workshop.

      Cheers
