A few months ago I was a little bored with the de-badged rear on my Passat and stumbled upon these Chinese-market genuine OEM R-line grill badges on Aliexpress for under $10 landed:

The quality is excellent as you'd expect from a genuine part.
I carefully removed the badge from the mount and applied some decent automotive double-sided tape and here's the result!
It's a matter of personal taste, but it has really grown on me over the past few months. I wouldn't feel right about plastering a R badge on the front and back of my modest Stage 1 beast (I don't have the grunt to justify it!) but I can live with this.
