How to get wire through firewall in a B7 Passat?

I need to pass through the firewall a few wires. Thanks to google I see that there is a firewall grommet down by the pedals but is there any other options?

To the left of the brake pedal there is a black rubber gromet/plug for a clutch pedal. Punch a small hole in that the push your cable through..

There should be a grommet behind the battery in the engine bay which is where all the ECU wiring goes through. You can use that.
