I need to pass through the firewall a few wires. Thanks to google I see that there is a firewall grommet down by the pedals but is there any other options?

It seems a rat thought my indicator wiring was tasty and chewed it off about 25cm from the bulb. Dang!

Can anyone tell me how to best get to the end of those wires to reconnect?

UPDATE: Not a rat! More likely poorly fitted rubber fitting that secures...

Has anyone retroffited the VW compass module to their Mk5? My highline MFD is retrofitted and I run a non OEM stereo so I can't get the compass functionality via that.

Was driving along and suddenly the Airbag Fault warning came up on the dash, after a scan 01221 - Implausible signal was shown, clearing it only causes it to come back. Online suggested the drivers door harness could have failed but there are no signs of any fraying/breaks in the wires....

Neither fm or am works on my new ‘12 multi, any suggestions before I pull unit out to inspect wires at the back ?
