  • tailgate release fail

    Hi there

I have a 2007 Passat wagon with which I have had a number of automatic door release issues. This has meant that the doors have not unlocked when I use the vehicle remote button.

Currently the problem is the rear tailgate - it will not open when I use the vehicle remote button or the release button on the inside of the driver's door. Do I need to replace the rear door release or is it something else?

    Appreciate your thoughts

Normally just the tailgate locking motor.
