Exactly. Pulsar SSS and the insurance was dangerous in one place near the fuel filler. Spraying the front windscreen resulting in the rear spraying and vice versa. Rear left door wouldn't open from the inside and the front door wasn't aligned properly. Front foglight came off the wrong year model.. and on and on with the dodgyness.

I am with Shannons now for the GTI and they are good with price and listing all mods.

AAMI are cheap for a reason. You get for what pay for.

The mrs did a ring around and we got the best from NRMA. Was quite puzzling and the lady couldn't explain why: we went through all the options of whose name the car would be in, etc and had large variances in the numbers. Don't take their first quote as given!

Try AI Insurance. I've been with them for 1 yr and claims are no fuss. Choice repairer and 50% excess with chipex cover. Cheaper than the rest for me.
Excess reduces every yr if no at fault claim made.

Do people think it's worth the new car replacement deal insurance companies offer you ?

I notice some are 2 years and some are 5 years, not sure if this is something i should hold everything on or look at if you can chose your own repair ?
