R36 Wagon- what did you pay?

Hi Guys,

I'd be keen to get some information on what you paid on the road for your car.

I spent 1.5hr in a Melbourne dealership negotiating on a white R36 wagon with sunroof and Nav...

We started at a price $16k above the price of the black R36 wagon with sunroof which just happened to be on a corporate contract left for my eyes on the sales blokes desk...

Needless to state that I didn't purchase today...

ACT is usually a few thousand over Melbourne or Sydney plus I didn't order one. It was brand new in the show room and I had it in 4 days after I decided instead of waiting 4 months for an ordered one.

Don't know if a corporate discount is better or worse but I believe it was about $1000 discount. Bought through wodonga as all the dealers in melbourne could not match it. Vossy, your price seems inline with others that have the corp. disc. mine included. It is 10% off base price, about $6000, plus lower ddc, $900 instead of $2700. So about $8000 off or thereabouts for the corp. disc.

I can't remember (it's been over a year) but I'm fairly sure mine was about $74000 drive away with sat nav, tint, auto tailgate. No discount.

2muchcoffeeman, the best dealer price I got in victoria, and I did my homework because when i walked into dealers to show my wife the salesmans remebered me, was from mentone barloworld a guy by the name of Chris was great he gave me the best price straight off no stuffing around. The only reason I didn't buy from him was because I know someone who knows the dealer principal at wodonga prestige. Like i said earlier if you want the details for the guy who looked after me at wodonga I am happy to pass them on to you. I spoke to him today and there are quite a few on the boat as of today that are not taken. So you could take delivery of one approx mid sep.
