When you choose OK, does it prompt: 'Do you really want to Reset'?
With my (white MFD) 2010, with ignition on, MENU button (NOT ODO button) twice (once takes to radio stations), scroll down 8 clicks to SERVICE INDICATOR, 2 options are INFO & RESET. INFO tells you how long to go. RESET prompts you to confirm you do want to reset. I think i can choose YES or CANCEL. So if you choose YES, then have a look in INFO, it should say something like 'NEXT SERVICE DUE 15000kms or 365 days. ??
NO much simpler.
Ignition on, holding down ODO and the Reset option appears as soon as you turn the ignition key.
Options are OK or cancel.
Scroll to OK and select and it seems to accept the command.
Turn off turn on and warning still appears.

That method is only applicable to the golf's from memory.
You need to follow the method MGV posted to get the service interval to reset.

Hey suffolk, so what was the solution for the piping issue? So far i found these piping which i think it best for, let me know what you think. Featured Products
My option so far is either going for APR IC with those piping, but i really prefer the Wagner IC for the quality of it and pricing.

You will get piping with the Wagner intercooler but the bend is in the wrong direction. Also you have to make alterations to the mechanism that closes your bonnet. Because of the size of the intercooler it pushes everything back, but that's a easy job. I eventually purchased some intercooler pipes then heated and stretched them to fit.
