Just to keep you guys updated this is the latest info from paul re a group buy of 5 sets.

"Ok, as mentioned these items are categorised by VW as accessories and as such, are only available on an indent basis.

While I already know the per-unit cost, I need to get an indication of the consolidated shipping costs, as these will be shipped from Germany through VW Asia-Pacific's logistics division in Singapore and onwards to me in Perth, after which I will need to get a quote to ship these out individually via Toll, UPS or DHL.

It was always going to be a long shot but finally got pricing and it is as much as any other method. See below:

Ok, I'm unable to provide you a cost on shipping but for now, the price for a set of these is $590 + GST.

The reason why I'm unable to provide a cost on shipping as I don't know what the packaging dimensions are or what the gross weight is.

All I can say is that I will charge the shipping at what UPS charges me. When the items arrive in Singapore, only then will I know the shipping weight and from there, I can compute the cost either by air or by sea.

There are only 18deg approach angle Tiguans in AU.

This is the kit I received. The instructions.. well lets just say this instal will be done with a bottle of scotch on hand to help the lack of info vw obviously do not want to share.

There are 8 pieces to the kit.
It was around 600 & something all up (after the exchange rate from UK pounds)
The ECS price delivered worked out to be about 50- 100 bucks more from memory, which is why I didnt get it from them.

The instructions are a massive failure on vw's part.
