People get onto Simon, it's simply down to the point of letting HPX have a test car for pipe fitment, intake fitment, and some other goodies. The sooner they get a Tig, the sooner you all have your stuff!!

There are a number of guys who have since contacted; I will liaise with our VARdesign guys this morning then get back to everyone today Certainly Tigger73 is going to be a main one - but we may need more so I'll check.

        Awesome.

Diesel is the biggest seller in Europe due to the tax rules there - I expect Europe is a bigger market ?

Diesel is a pain on these because there's nothing much an exhaust can do to aid flow; the DPF is very restrictive (and illegal to remove!) so mods on these are proving to be tricky. We're still looking at options though

The CAI should be in in the stock in a few weeks time and similar for the c/f engine cover.

Final (hopefully) pre-production fittings of a number of hardware bits is happening this week. So things are moving along (albeit a bit slower than planned).
Hopefully Simon will have some news on release dates and pricing soon.

OK so I now have a Viezu stage 2 tune with 2.75" downpipe fitted. It's a whole new car to drive. Loads more torque - you really start noticing the difference from around 3,000rpm. It's going to take some practise to learn how to drive slow

Only kidding. Though there is always the temptation to plant the right foot and /or take the wrong freeway exit so you have to jump back on the "on" ramp.

Even so on the open road the fuel economy has improved by about 0.2l/100km. Trip over to Melbourne averaged around 8.9l/100km and 8.7l/100km on the way back.

The CAI / FMIC / exhaust / rear diffuser are all on the way - hopefully some of these hardware bits will be ready by the end of the year but for now tunes and downpipes are ready to go.

Suggest you contact Simon/Viezu delaer and see if they'll do a hot tuner discount on the Tig DP - very similar to the type R design http://www.vwwatercooled.org.au/foru...als-76939.html

Will post some pics once I take some photos in the light.

For those waiting for the Viezu engine cover / CAI here's a photo of the bits on a Golf GTI:

Engine covers are available now, however CAI are taking a bit longer for the Tig.

Reason is if you have a look under the bonnet of your Tig they've put the washer bottle filler in just the wrong place.

So it's either shift the filler cap/washer bottle or redesign the intake.... hence it's taking a little longer.
