Can anyone confirm whether the new Tig's are made in Wolfsburg?

Yes ... Should be unless cost cutting with the front grill wasn't enough.

But can determine for sure if have your VIN.

You'd want the final letter before the 6-digit serial number at the end of the VIN to be a 'W' for Wolfsburg.

And definitely not a 'U' which is Uitenhage, South Africa, where mk5 golfs had rattles in the interior thrown in for free at the factory.

Definitely hated the look of the front! Like they're trying to attract Subaru owners or something.

The back looks nicer, if you like the Golf R (with the new tails) and especially at night time!
But somehow they remind me of eyes from a robot out of the original Astroboy series!

I have owned 3 Subarus, I have a 2012 Tiguan on order, I guess it worked.

I'm pretty sure the camera will return as soon as they can get reliable supplies out of Japan again, or resource from somewhere else, hopefully they'll be leaving the wiring in place for an easy retro-fit.

When I found out a couple of months ago that the reverse camera wasn't going to be available in the 2012 model I have on order, I went onto eBay and bought a OEM kit complete with wiring from Poland.

I have had it under my desk at work for a couple of months now, still waiting for my Tiguan.

I was also told that off road tech was also no available for 2012.
