My lower door seals are always full of dirt/crud when i was around the inside door, I guess the seals just don't seal that well...
I would like to know how much the side steps help towards shielding dirt from coming in the dooropenings etc, you guys have any experience with this?
Alternatively, do the steps effectively catch all the crap that jumps up from dirt roads etc.?
    many thanks

The bottom of the door is clean but my wife doesn't like the step when she is getting out of the car.

I'm glad that you brought that up, since I was planning to remove the steps. But now thanks to you she will have to get use to them.

However due to the number of ppl interested (which at best was 3 by my count), the company has confirmed this afternoon that there's no saving whatsoever on DHL shipping, on such a small order.

In other words, still charged $150 USD per set for delivery. Realistically, they've indicated we need to be talking at least 20 plus!

Anyhow for you guys that responded and still want to go ahead with this, please just email them directly to place your own order. As mentioned, it will cost you $283 USD.

Same applies to anyone else who subsequently wants one!

I'm not just admiring the steps, but admiring the wheels. They look sweet!

            Thanks mate!

But envy no more ... there's plenty to go around!

Check the link to my Google Document, listing all VW/Audi replicas (also direct from China):

By wire transfer and no idea about difference as never seen an original one.

But it's fair to say ... you get what you pay for.

Just go through my pics and judge for yourself.

Thank you for your response. I was a little bit concerned the form of payment because when I buy something online I usually pay by PayPal. But I just saw your pictures and it looks really nice. So I think I will purchase them. I have another question. What size are your rims?

Hey BB, you've just cut my grass on this!

Tiguanblue, I'm sure if you ask, they'll accept it! But expect to pay more if you want to by PayPal!

Just in case ... when I said go through my pics, I meant those in this thread starting from page 1!

Hi there, venturing a little far from home!

                            The installation is not hard!

But is very fiddly and little hard to work out because pictures in instruction manual is in black and white.

Most time consuming part is cutting out the shapes on the underside cover, so that you can fit it back on.

Template is provided to cut out the shapes, but not 100% accurate.

Definitely recommend two people to install and have car up on a hoist.

                              Hello, thanks for the reply!
In fact they are a bit far, but now with the internet
distance does not exist any more!
We bought the same platforms as well as I had
instructions in black and white, are practically in
little, I bought them from a site at 200 euros Slovenian
including shipping costs, it seems a good
                              price.
For the installation I found it difficult to mount
of rivet nuts, but eventually I made it there.
All in all, I look good, we hope that last over
time. As soon as I can also put photos on your
site. Take a look at our site dedicated to

I fitted this type to a customers car. It was nicer looking. but the bolt kit was crap, had to replace most of the bolts.
