I had the same rattle, the bolt is the key to holding the drawbar firm. The foam collar was secondary.

Anyone know if this Retractable Towbar is available to the AUS market? Am assuming it may not meet ADR requirements, hence never having seen it, but thought I'd ask!

Hi all, sorry to drag up very old thread but hoping someone may be able to point me in the right direction.

My wifes 2011 155 Tig was purchased quickly second hand about this time last year from a Dealer in Melbourne before we moved back to Tassie - I now have the need to tow with it and started googling tow bars for Tigs - I had another good look under the car and found what looks to be the factory fitted assembly. Great news!
Exactly as pictured in this post from NZTiguan.

The problem is, the actual tow bar was never supplied.

Dealer today told me it cannot be purchased as separate part, suggested the Hayman Reece agent which I tried but no joy - they have nothing close to fit, suggested a local engineering / welding company who could make the assembly.

Thought on the odd chance someone may have one laying around and want to sell, or someone has had similar drama and found a solution?

Next try will be phoning wreckers, if that fails I will have to get actual tongue upright made as per these pics (keen to avoid this)...

              Any help much appreciated.

              Cheers
              Ash
