Got the Kumho Ecsta KU31 tyres in 235/50-18, they add just enough width I reckon for that baby Touareg look They're a little bit noisier than stock but not a lot, loud stereo helps Gotta say they grip pretty well though for a reasonably priced tyre.

Hey great job you've done there Simon, loving it myself too. The rear end phatness does give it a bit of Touareg look and resemblence.

Thanks Dave, and thanks again for helping out with the springs, they really make a huge difference ^^ Dave is an excellent source for goodies too for all of you who need springs, intakes, other goodies.

            Looks fantastic.
I have just cut and pasted your earlier rear end shot (lowered) together with the one here for comparison. Very nice. The stance will really attract lots of second looks - "what the..".
For comparison, do you have a similar shot before any work?

I'm not sure actually I'll have to check what's on my camera.

They look great. The looks don't scream aftermarket, and the VW emblem in the middle completes the look. Are these RS4 look-alikes?
Can you give links and approx price for rims/tyres for those of us sitting on the fence?

ET is 42 I think Johan. Done about 500k's on the tyres so far in rainy and dry conditions and gotta say they perform pretty well, excellent value IMO. Just slightly noisier than stock but not a lot, but that may diminish with some wear i suspect.

Simon are the tyres rated for the Tig (towing capacity etc) or car tyres?

That's a great price too! My tyres were more than that on their own!

clip, looked at some wheels and tyres at Gold Coast, they wouldn't even sell me the Kumhos, said to go with Goodyear or Continental...at a cost obviously.

Still very interested in the Kumhos and wheels from Tempe or St George in Victoria...

                          cheers
