Yeah, bad press on the DSG has hurt VW Australia, I was looking at used machines, 2011 onwards, all around 35k
Last month I picked up a new white 103tdi Pacific (comfort pack, park assist 2, fog lights, floor mats plus 6 year warranty) for a smidge over $37k drive away.
No brainier reallyLast edited by BladeSlapper; 27-07-2013, 10:48 AM.

Hi mate,
If you have a look up above, I got mine in April.
Didn't get a price with the options you want, but they are usually a standard price anyway.
Cheers,
Alex

Hi Guys great forum. The information on this forum has convinced me that the tiguan is the car for me. It was a toss up between the Mazda cx5 and the tig. Although the cx5 GT comes with more options, the drive in the tig felt better and from what I have read here is that the engine in the tig is better. I also think i can get a better changeover price on my golf. Plus the APR tune sounds interesting.
I am about to do the ring around on a price for a 132 tsi dsg pacific, leather and 18 alloy and wondered if anyone has got any prices in the last month or two?

Osbourne Park VW. Got confirmation today that the car will be ready for pick up tomorrow.
The initial 2 months wait was no problem just the waiting after they told me it arrived.

nothing to apologise mateOriginally posted by alexc2005 View PostDriveaway. It's a great price.
, don't forget the extras too.
Yep GST inclusive.
Isn't this thread supposed to benefit new contributing Tiguan owners
It seems like you want me to appologise for managing to get a good price...?
it's your luck for getting a really good price.
a lot of the second hand tiguans (125tsi / 132tsi) are still priced $1-$2k less or some even more than what you paid for.
I used to work in a dealership group and yes sometimes they were willing to sell new cars at a loss, even after taking into account the 'holdback' amount, to achieve a quota target, which in return they got bonus or bigger rebate from the factory.
