The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. • Mice chewed through CCM wires !!

Hey all so I have discovered over the last week being away that a mouse has gotten into my car and chewed away at my CCM wires and its done some damage, no central locking power windows and interior lights..

So Im wondering how hard is it to replace those wires?, and if anyone can direct me where to purchase the loom/harness

    Regards

            Hegsy,
If you can use a good quality wire crimper you can repair the damage yourself. I assume you can see the chewed cables so you strip both ends and add a missing bit and heatshrink the ends.
All cables are colour coded and provided the mouse has not eaten through the main loom there shouldnt be repeat colours to guess.

Any decent auto electrician should be able to srt it out. They are just bits of copper to join together after all.
