I have read posts in the Passat section about this and this site was suggested -Volkswagen Map & Softwareupdates I checked it out but for the Tiguan it only had for 2015 onwards. As my car is a 2011 does this mean I can't get map updates for the RNS510? I have 2015 at present. What are my options? Change the unit? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

The latest maps for the RNS510 are v9.
However these are extortionately expensive for some reason.

RNS 510 Map Updates
Thanks for this. V8 is what I have. I'm disappointed with VW and when compared to Tom Tom who updates maps once a year at the least. How easy would it be to replace the RNS510 for an aftermarket unit. Any suggestions?Originally posted by kamold View PostComment
