I don't know if there is a better place to post this, but here I go. I've had an odd noise from the steering, only when I turn the wheel. It is mechanical and sounds a bit like a ratchet except with a little more resonance. It is not loud. I did not notice for a while as I had music playing. I took it into the dealer for a look and they replaced the slip ring assembly (under warranty). it still makes the noise. Has anyone else noticed a noise from the steering? I really don't want to take the car back. The loaner Golf was nice enough but it's not the same!

Probably the same issue like in EU. Dealer should remove stering wheel and fix cables position around.

My Tig has done about 3,000km and loving it, a few days ago I was reversing up my driveway and had fUll RH steering lock under acceleration and had a similar ratchet noise momentarily! Has been a once off and no action taken to date will monitor if it reoccurs.

Also did a trip up the Hume (mostly under cruise control) and having entered a town, cruise off, turning right in the middle of two round abouts got a strange single knock from the left hand front, once again has repeated itself since.

Thanks for your responses. I'll monitor it and if I get more info I'll post it.
