        Sure, install was in the following order

        Roughly installed 6 weeks ago
        • BMC Hi flow air filter
        • APR stage 1 tune


        about 4 weeks ago
        • APR turbo inlet pipe
        • EMC silicone hose
        • Snow grate removal


        last few days
        • Air inlet mod into the airbox
        • APR AWD DP
        • APR stage 2 tune


        Still to come
        • Dogbone


        Considering an i38 upgrade maybe sometime down the track....

        The exhaust sounds SO much better now, got to drive into the city earlier and play around a little on the way in under different conditions and very happy with it. Car really moves, considering putting it on a dyno to see the results, would love a timed 0-100 as well sometime down the track if it can be arranged.

        Happy to answer any questions, consider me a bit of a novice in this space, haven't modded cars since early 20s which was a long time ago, but having lots of fun researching and taking inspiration from other forum members.

          It’s funny how we all have similar backgrounds i.e. modded cars previously in our 20s, now driving “sporty family cars” and turning them into sleeper modded SUVs.

          I forgot to mention that on the IS38 Tig I’m still rocking a child seat in the rear. Are you stage 1/2 guys running anychild seats? it’s extra sleeper cred.

            Mine are all out of car seats, they like coming with me as I "zoom along" as they put it

              I would love to join this bandwagon but I live in the lower north shore of Sydney and there is nowhere to plant your foot longer than 3 seconds before hitting the brakes.

              Ordered: 2017 build date Tiguan 162 TSI Highline with DAP in Tungsten Silver and rear luggage tray. ETA: late April / Early May. I did not have to wait. I took delivery on 11 March 2017.

                I would prefer if everyone refers to the Tiguan (especially 162) as a Performance SUV, I am only 22 and already get enough crap over it being a family car haha

                    Definitly more sleeper with the roof rack and pods....if you had a tow bar that would be a trifecta.

                    I haven’t done a hand wash of the car during winter, I tend to go to the brushless car washes. In the photos APR took my car was filthy, a tad embarrassing. Which tuner are you using ? I’m guessing APR with their sale starting tomorrow

                      Well, let’s call a spade a spade. It’s a performance family SUV. Can I ask (not being ageist) what drew you to the Tig 162 and say not a Golf GTI or R?

                        Correct, Peerless Automotive. Seanix who was on this forum just got his 2018 rs3 tuned there and recommended it.. Haven't even got the tune yet but already thinking about a DP and stage two.. *headslap

                          Nice one. Have you put a panel filter in and removed the snow grate? That will let it breathe a little more, and you will get a nice induction sound. The mod bug is addictive. I’m thinking how I can get this performance (family) SUV under 4s.....

                              I had an i30, I quickly became annoyed about having to fold the seats down to fit anything in the boot. I often have to cart things around for work. The child in me almost purchased a Golf R Grid but I chose practicality. I also at the time thought the 162tsi in the Sportline was enough power. The other thing that persuaded me was the ride, the DCC in the Tiguan makes such a difference on the awesome roads I have to travel on the daily.
