Is that the round boss from the r-line wheel. I was only aware of the ‘normal’ vw wheel and the r-line one.

I can also confirm that with the old AID, the clock is always visible in the instrument cluster, top and centre.

Mine is an Nov 22nd build My19 but has to older AID and a round boss in the steering wheel the later ones have the new one and an unusual shaped pad in the steering wheel/

I'll grab a photo later when I get back to the car. The guy who delivered it and gave me the walkthrough did say it was a newer screen he hadn't seen before, so maybe it's that. Still a strange thing to remove though.

Should be programmable as in that screen all are in the screen no actual lights. Look in the menu in the media there is lots of adjustments in there

I also have the newer instrument display, and it does not have the time. Is kind of frustrating, as the time is not in the same place, especially when switching to car play, when it moves to the right of the screen.

Yep, no option anywhere to add the time to that screen. What a weird omission as there's clearly space for it in the top middle where it's shown on yours. Maybe I'll bug VW about it.

Yeah but you get 3 fuel gauges LOL Glad I got the older one as looks better I reckon

You can change what is in the middle of each gauge, and for different modes. Or just not show them at all.

Cant always have what you want

I have been driving the car in normal mode for more than 2000kms and yesterday I changed to comfort mode for 300kms journey. When looking at vehicle status driving data , the long term data is for comfort mode only and does not include my previous driving data on normal mode. Is this how it is expected to work by displaying long term data for each mode separately?

Change it back to normal and see if it retained it in memory. Dont know as I really dont bother with that stuff.

That's an interesting observation...My long term average fuel consumption has reset a couple times, and I know I didn't do it.
I wonder if this is what, as occasionally I switch from "Individual" mode to "Sport" mode and back again
