Does anyone else’s drivers side wiper either slightly hit the edge of the screen or the moulding, either that or when it’s flicking back the other way the bottom of the blade possibly rolls and makes a flap noise? Mine does it and has since day 1 and I kind of can’t work out what’s causing exactly causing the noise, seems to only be when they are going flat out though.

I have to take my car into the dealer in the next week or so to get an update done for the TPMS and was going to ask them to have a look at this at the same time as it bugs me.

Well today I took delivery of my Tiguan and I’m in awe.
Took it on the freeway and straight away tested DAP - having a car correct steering for you to keep in its lane is something else. The ACC is a bit annoying, it kept slowing right down if I had someone in front or in the right lane. Will play around with that one.
Massage function on driver’s seat is adorable.
Putting it into Sport mode is full of thrills. It’s the 132TSI Adventure but it’s enough for me. Almost too much!
Panoramic sunroof in 20 degrees is delightful. Didn’t notice too much road noise even on the freeway so that’s great. I asked the dealer not to install the roof racks so now I have a rather large box of hardware that I’ll need to store. Makes a difference to the aesthetics.
Parked it with the auto park and the Tiguan squeezed into a space I would never had tried. Amazing.
360 degree cameras is a god send. I can’t ‘see’ the end of the bonnet so having that assistance is appreciated. Although on the Discover Media unit I notice the ‘car’ on the left gets in the way of full reverse camera vision. Weird.
Didn’t come with radio stations and haven’t had a test of the Maps yet. I’ve got 5 days to play before going back to work so I see a lot of driving in my future.
Lots of manual reading today so I can’t understand how to work things (couldn’t work out the electric seat settings for example).
Thank you for such a great forum - it was a large part of me choosing the Tiguan and it lives up to expectation and then some!

It looks so much better without those roof racks. Panoramic sunroof and tint adds to it. Will change the rims one day but for now originals will do.
DAP is my fav feature. Got it at 20kms and already at 58kms. Will hit 500 before Monday I think.
Nice little touch from the dealer - when you push the start button it welcomes me by my first name. So cute.
They really are a stunning car. I’m giddy
