Hi brains trust, hoping for some advice on wheels for my R-line. I'm looking to get some 20x9.5 wheels and was curious on what offset to have them machined to? For the time being I will be running the stock tyre size @ 255/40 but may look at 265/40 in future.
I'm thinking offsets of 30 rear and 35 front - is this too aggressive?

Hi guys I have a 2017 Tiguan with the 255/45R20 Suzuka wheels. The plate on the drivers side door indicates 235/55R18 as one of the OEM sizes. Am I correct in assuming that if i switch out for this size then the speedo will still be ok? Does anyone know where I find the rim offset information for myself?
Also how do I go about making sure the Typre Pressure Monitoring will still work if I switch rims?
I'd like to switch out to Yokohama Geolanders
Many thanks in advance and Merry Belated Xmas!

I cannot assist with the offset though.
As far as the TPMS goes, VW generally use the ABS sensors to detect different rotational speeds as an indicator of tyre pressure differences. At least my old MY07 Jetta and my current MY21 Tiguan uses the ABS sensors.
